1:17 And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
1:31-33 Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the House of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!
1:35 FT The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God

Luke 2

2:6-7 While they were there, the time came for her Child to be born. And she gave birth to her firstborn, a Son. She wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
2:10-11 But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord.
2:12 And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger
2:13-14 And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests!
2:30-32 For my eyes have seen Your salvation, which You have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to Your people in Israel.
2:34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to His mother Mary: Behold, this Child is appointed to cause the rise and fall of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against
2:49 Why were you looking for Me? He said. Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?
2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
- Be imitators of God, therefore, as whom? 5:1 Beloved children
- And walk in love, how? 5:2 Just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant sacrificial offering to God
